Our processes and practices help us to help you minimise environmental impact. We use the latest technology and continuous training to deliver improved environmental outcomes. At our Steel River, Mayfield West, printing facility, we:
- Choose carbon neutral and recycled papers
- Use vegetable based inks
- Reduce waste e.g. we use minimal paper when preparing for offset printing
- Print only the quantity required for digital methods
- Recycle printing plates, paper and cardboard packaging
- Reduce chemicals and water used at press and prepress stages
- Review strategies to prevent pollution
- Implement a continuous improvement program and appropriate training for staff
- Comply with legislative requirements
- Monitor and regulate noise and dust.
