Sustainable Advantage partnering with DECCW

As a member of the NSW Government's Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water (DECCW) Sustainable Advantage Program WHO Printing works to conserve the environment in which it operates through intelligent and environmentally responsible practices and processes. The culture of Reduce, Recycle and Re-use means it operates efficiently and responsibly, and it maintains this level of operations through refresher training and courses that meet industry and environmental guidelines.

Sustainable Green Print

WHO Printing General Manager Daniel Ogle has completed Stage 1 of Sustainable Green Print conducted by Printing Industries Australia.

Lean Competitive Manufacturing
WHO has invested time and people resources into training with all staff currently undertaking Competitive Lean Manufacturing Certificates 3 & 4.

ISO 16247-2 Compliance
To meet the demands of modern businesses WHO has invested time and people resources into attaining accreditation for ISO 16247-2 Colour Management. The prepress technicians, printers and design team have completed their training, bringing the company in line with international printing standards, which is unmatched elsewhere in Newcastle.

OH&S Training
WHO has a dedicated team of OH&S Officers to ensure the safety of their co-workers. Frequent refresher training updates them on safety needs and latest practices.

Sales and Networking Training
Five of the WHO team are members of BNI (Business Networking International) Chapters and participate in the continuous training opportunities that are provided. Four of those were chosen as members of the leadership teams for their individual chapters.
